Every day in April I’ll be writing poems , one per day in an attempt to do this challenge.

As I’ve missed the first 4 days, here are 4 quick poems to catch up.

1 )Orange Peel

Pimpled dappled touch smooth

Senses used to find the round

Segments spit and make you cry

Life’s bittersweet juices run and hide

A fruit but not the only one

Peel pith,skin and pulp

Juice for thirst.

2) Jardin

Mot avec deux syllables

Comme des seins nus

Allongée entre eux

Ma tête qui repose

Comme ” Le Déjeuner sur l’herbe”

Sous les arbres

Trouvent la solitude des arbres

Espaces pour se retrouver

Endroit palpitant, relaxant, jardin

 3) Pages

Pages. White but not.

Grained but smooth

Lines for directions we ignore

Spoil with our work

Wipe our feet on the best carpets

But not the doormat

Ink that bleeds

Through the pages

Replaced by Oligarchs

Politicians bark for cash

Hiding away from society

The fruits that could help

Avoiding the tax

Which saves social cohesion

Only “jobs for the boys”

The jack that “made good”

Is no King shot April 4th.
